The year of the Apple headset
The unveiling of the Apple headset, supposedly originally planned for January, has been postponed shortly, according to Apple reporter Mark Gurman. However, he is certain: 2023 will be the year of Apple Reality. The XR device is thought to be Apple’s flagship launch this year and even ties in capabilities from other hardware departments.
Microsoft’s battles with its battle headset
Hololens remains a challenging product for Microsoft, and this also applies to the military version: American soldiers complain of eye strain and headaches, which is why Congress cancels a 400 million dollar order. Instead, Microsoft will have to play catch up and deliver a better version.
