This is a free-to-play contest where you choose which teams will advance to the knockout stages of each of the eight groups in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and then predict the winners of the knockout bracket all final.

So far, contestants in the bracket are all in two countries to win it all.
Brazil and Argentina are the two teams most often selected to make the final among competing brackets, with France and England rounding out the top four semi-final picks. Fellow tournament favorites Spain and Germany were selected in lower brackets than the long-shot United States to make the semifinals.
Brazil and Argentina are slated to make the finals in over 25% of the brackets, at 28.2 and 27.7 percent respectively – much, much higher than the United States (10.7%) and France (7.1%).
Let’s dive into how the numbers break down and take a look at some of our talent’s bracket picks below!
Group winners
- Netherlands (Group A): 78.3%
- England (Group B): 72.1%
- Argentina (Group C): 84.0%
- France (Group D): 77.1%
- Germany (Group E): 58.6%
- Belgium (Group F): 69.2%
- Brazil (Group C): 95.9%
- Portugal (Group H): 67.0%
Argentina and Brazil are not only the favorites to make the final among our brackets, but also have relatively weak groups. So it makes sense that a heavy majority of bracket entries have the two teams advancing out of their respective groups and winning them outright.
The Netherlands also benefits from a low-speaking group, which includes host country Qatar. Despite not being one of the favorites to reach the final or even the semi-final, the Dutch are the next most common choice to win their group with 78.3%. England and France round out the top five.
And don’t worry about the United States – the USMNT is the most common choice to finish as the runner-up in Group B (58.4%) and make the knockout stage.

To advance to the 16 series
- Brazil: 92.5%
- Argentina: 79.2%
- England: 66.7%
- France: 64.9%
- Portugal: 57.8%

Brazil leads the way as the team selected the most to make the round of 16, with an overwhelming percentage of brackets in their favor.
Defending champion France surprisingly has a little less support than England to reach the knockout stage. England have only won the tournament once, back in 1966.
The USMNT is also a popular team to make the round of 16, with 45% of contestants showing the young team some love.
Advance to quarterfinals
- Brazil: 68.9%
- Argentina: 67.7%
- France: 43.7%
- Portugal: 26.1%
- England: 25.2%
- United States: 19.4%
To no one’s surprise, Brazil continues to lead the way, with defending champions France also gaining some popularity.
On the flip side, bracket competitors aren’t too confident in England reaching the quarter-final stage. The Three lions Move from third-most likely to reach the round of 16 to fifth-most likely to reach this stage.
Advance to semi-finals
- Brazil: 39.9%
- Argentina: 34%
- France: 28.2%
- England: 14.6%
- United States: 13.6%
The parenthetical entries are nothing if not consistent. Brazil and Argentina are still the top two teams to reach the last four. But there is a surprise – the United States is right up there with England as a popular choice to make the semis.
In other words, contestants are rooting for the USMNT to make a deep run.

- Brazil: 28.2%
- Argentina: 27.7%
- United States: 10.7%
- France: 7.1%
- Germany: 6.1%
Brazil and Argentina continue to shine, but perhaps in a show of our nation’s pride, the USMNT is the third-most picked nation to make the 2022 World Cup Final.
