Matt Lauer and girlfriend Shameen Abbas are still going strong.

Lauer and Abbas both live in New York and spend time with each other in between their work trips, according to the source, who added: “She is a dedicated businesswoman who loves work, is independent. And he has made a good living for himself.”
The source added that Abbas supports Lauer “in every way” and that his mistakes do not affect her business.
