Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series with a starting price of $999 (a jump of $100 from the Galaxy S10). However, due to dismal sales, the company had to drop the price to $799 with the launch of the Galaxy S21 series. Despite bringing many improvements, especially regarding cameras (and S Pen on the Ultra), Samsung has stuck with the same price for the Galaxy S22.
The company could increase the price of its next-generation Galaxy S series smartphone lineup, which includes the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The Galaxy S23 price could start at $899 in the US
According to 9To5Google, Samsung could increase the price of the Galaxy S23 series by $100 in general in the United States. The report claims that the 128GB version of the Galaxy S23 will be priced at AU$1,350, while the 256GB version could be priced at AU$1,450. The 128GB version of the Galaxy S23+ will reportedly cost AU$1,650, while the Galaxy S23 Ultra could be priced at AU$1,950.
So, in the US, the basic Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra could be priced at $899, $1,099 and $1,299, respectively.

Why the higher price for Galaxy S23?
