Special Functions for Engineers and Applied Mathematicians « Adafruit Industries – Makers, hackers, artists, designers and engineers!

Some fun and unique math problems from an exceptionally well-made book. Here’s more from Math Wizard:

In this video I will show you a book that contains a lot of really interesting math. The book focuses on specific tasks, which are tasks you might see in physics or engineering courses. If you take a course like partial differential equations you will also see some special assignments. In this video I talk a little bit about the book and then discuss Unlimited products. I actually have an example where we find an infinite product. I chose an example that hopefully you can understand if you have some math. Prerequisites for this book are a complete calculus sequence (calc 1 through calc 3) and a differential equations course. This book was used to teach advanced undergraduate students and graduate students. This book is called Special Performance and it is written by Larry Andrews.
