One of the men who killed Stephen Lawrence has been moved to a tougher jail after he was twice caught in possession of a mobile phone.
Racist thug David Norris, 46, was moved from Category C Dartmoor to Category B Exeter after the scandal, which mocked his status as one of Britain’s most notorious inmates.
He will have fewer privileges in his new prison and has lost all hope of being transferred to an open prison, before being considered for release on licence, in the next few years.
The development is a victory for the Daily Mail following our bombshell investigation in September which revealed how Norris sent WhatsApp messages and selfies from his cell to friends outside prison and boasted he was being released after two years.

Officials found a smartphone in an intimate part of his body following information from this newspaper.
Then-Justice Secretary Brandon Lewis furiously declared that Norris would face “consequences”, but within weeks the grumpy killer, who wears Armani clothes in prison, was found with another phone – this time in his cell. Amid fears that a corrupt member of staff had given it to him, a police investigation was launched.
Lord Mackenzie of Framwellgate, former president of the Association of Police Officers, said Norris was “sticking two fingers at the justice system”.
Last week he raised the controversy in the House of Lords, saying: “The minister will be aware of the recent case of David Norris, the killer of Stephen Lawrence, who was found with a mobile phone in his cell on Dartmoor for the second time. .

‘Will the minister tell the House what action the Ministry of Justice has taken to stop this egregious breach of security?’
Conservative minister Lord Bellamy replied: ‘I cannot comment on the specific case, although I know that action has been taken.’ Asked to confirm Norris’ transfer to Exeter, the MoJ said last night: “Prisoners who break the rules may face longer behind bars or be moved to more secure conditions.”
