
Viking announces amazing itinerary for its upcoming series of world cruises. See up to 37 countries with Viking’s three cruise options.
World Cruises
2024/2025 world cruises come in four different lengths. The longest is called Viking World Voyage I and lasts 180 days. On this cruise ship, you will stop at 85 ports located in 37 countries, with 13 ports hosting overnight stays. It sails from Fort Lauderdale in 2024. December 19, and returns to New York in 2025. June 17 Viking Sky930 guest ship.
Viking World Voyage II is a shorter version, sailing for just 163 days from 2025. January 5 The cruise starts in Los Angeles, visits 29 countries and ends in New York. Even shorter, the 138-day Viking World Cruise departs from Fort Lauderdale and ends in London, sailing to 28 countries. The world’s shortest cruise is Viking World Journeys. That’s 121 days from Los Angeles to London, visiting 23 countries.
Cruise highlights
Viking 2024/2025 world cruises circumnavigate the planet, stopping at several breathtaking destinations including Sydney, Singapore and Bali. Ports of accommodation allow guests to spend more time in one place, deepening their experience.
In Auckland, New Zealand, cruise guests have 3 days of sampling the area’s famous wines and boating. There is also a three-night stopover in Mumbai, where guests can spend time exploring the Hanging Gardens and individual markets. Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and St. St. Paul’s Cathedral is popular for overnight stays in London. Culture lovers will love a stop in Istanbul, where they can visit the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. And an overnight stay in Singapore provides a great opportunity for guests to experience a night safari.
Other world cruise highlights include sailing the Panama Canal, spotting dolphins in Milford Sound and penguin watching at Phillip Island in Australia. You’ll also cross the International Date Line and sail through historic bodies of water including the Coral Sea, Tasman Sea and Timor Sea.
Cruise prices
All those amazing places and experiences come at a price! Looking at Viking’s website, the longest cruise (Viking World Voyage I) starts at around $80,000. The second longest (Viking World Voyage II) starts at $75,000. Viking World Cruise (138 days) and Viking World Journeys (121 days) start at $60,000 and $55,000, respectively.
Viking is currently offering an incentive to launch these amazing new routes. From now until 2023 March 31st, when you purchase a round-the-world cruise, you’ll also receive business class airfare, ground transfers, all gratuities and service charges, a beverage package, and free baggage delivery.
